Update...it's been a while

I'm so far behind on this blog I'm not sure if I will ever get caught up. Since my last post we have had many, many bloggable (they need to add that to Webster's) occasions, the only problem is that with all this excitement comes a serious lack of blogging time. We've had many visitors; my parents, the Heggies, the McLachlans, the (Ryan) Evansons, and my friend Steph. We had Chloe's baby blessing, we've moved, I got my gall bladder removed, and Dave's back in school (hopefully for his last semester). All this while trying to keep up with Maggie and take care of my little Chloe. Maybe someday I will put up more detailed posts about each event, but for now this will have to do.

Our girls are getting bigger everyday. Maggie is 18 months old, it's hard to believe. She talks and signs like crazy, it's fun to watch her learn and develope. She loves music and has got some wicked dance moves. Maggie loves Chloe (thank goodness), all day I hear 'Hiya Coco'. I think it's so cute. When Chloe cries, Maggie is the first to respond and gets a little annoyed with me if I let her cry too long. Maggie LOVES her walks with Daddy, she's also just content to sit on our front step and hang out with him. They are best friends.

Chloe is just a little sweetie. She is already 2 months old, it makes me sad that she is getting out of the newborn phase. She is such a happy little thing (unless Dave holds her, for some reason she has decided that Dad is not her favourite person). Sometimes it's hard to get to get her to nurse cause she can't stop smiling at me, seriously melts my heart. She only gets up once to eat in the night after a 6-8 hour stretch, just a little bit different than her older sister. We love our little Coco (I don't love the nickname Coco, but it's so cute when Maggie says it, I'm afraid it's sticking).
So, to sum it all up, the Betts Family is doing well. I'm finally feeling healthy which is such a wonderful thing. I've even gone out for a couple walk/jogs lately, yeah for me! We are so grateful for all the love and support we recieved from friends and family while we got through some rough times, we truly are blessed!

  3. You are a champ! You have had a busy 2 months.
Liz has never taken to Stephen like Tori did. Tori LOVES Stephen and Liz is more of a Mama's girl. Funny (oh, and I love that you put the "u" in favourite. Cute, cute girls!
