The Dirty Dash

This past weekend Dave and I embarked on a crazy adventure. A few months ago my cousin called and asked us to be on their team to do a 5K Mud Run. I really didn't know what a Mud Run was, but on a whim I said 'yes', I'm glad I did. I'm also glad that I didn't know what it was or I probably would have said 'no'.
It was really fun and I would do it again next year (if I'm not Preggers).
This little video gives a pretty good idea what it was all about. It was tough and muddy and slippery. We didn't make it in the video, but we weren't doing any back flips or anything like that....I was just happy to make it to the end :)

    That is SO cool! Had fun watching the video.

    p.s. I probably should google it. But can you tell me what the purpose of this dirty dash is? Raising awareness of something? Raising funds for something? Or just celebrating something to do with your town? Just curious.
