This is the Place Heritage Park

There was a free day at the park, so we decided to take the girls to check it out. We had so much fun and the girls loved it. We got to ride a couple trains, pet some baby animals, and Mags got to ride a horse. She was thrilled.
We finally found something that Chloe is nervous about. As we were in line for the horse ride, she realized what was going on, she looked at the horses and then back at me and very emphatically said 'NO'. It was really funny.
It was nice that it was free, plus we even got free ice cream cones.

Maggie on the boat.
It's a replica of the boats that brought many of the pioneers across to America.
Maggie has many ancestors that were part of these groups.

I wanted Dave to do the Titanic 'I'm the king of the world', but he wouldn't....what a party pooper.

Enjoying her ice cream

Loving the baby sheep.

Maggie's horse ride. Very exiting!

Sharing some snacks while waiting for the train.

Coco and I on the train at the end of our day.

Dave and Mags.
We are so glad that we went, we all had a great time.

These are just a couple random pictures, they are cute and I want my Mom to see them :)
They don't quite understand that the markers are for paper.
They both thought they were gorgeous with their pretty 'makeup' on....I'm not so sure.
Thank goodness for washable markers.

I came to check on Chloe and this is what I found.
She did this all on her own. She got the cookies, climbed into the chair and set herself up for a nice little meal :)

  1. Dave IS a party pooper for not doing the Titanic thing ;)

Sophie colored on herself the other day to be "like an elephant". It was all over her face and arms--lots of black marker. Silly kids.

  2. Your girls are so darn cute! I have to laugh at the last photo. What a polite little girl. 'Sneak the cookies.....but still make sure to sit at the table and eat the cookies properly.' lol. So cute.
