Chloe - aka. Coco, Coco Bean, Coco Moco, Chloekins, Guber, and Munchkin (Maggie calls her Munkins)

Today was Chloe's 9 month visit at the Doctor. She is strong and healthy. I can't believe my little one is almost 10 months old.
Chloe is a joy. I absolutely love her little face and body and cute personality. She has turned into quite a little monkey these days, she loves to climb. It seemed to happen overnight. One day she was just rolling around on the floor, then the next day she was pulling herself up and trying to get on the couch, in the toy basket, in the book shelf and anywhere else she can manage to get to.
She has learned to clap and loves to do patty-cake, Maggie thinks it's great.
She loves to dance, anytime there is any sort of music, this girl is bopping and wiggling to the beat. She's got a beautiful singing 'gargle' and enjoys performing for us.
Maggie and Chloe are best buds. Maggie is so good with her little sister, and Chloe absolutely adores Mags, I love watching them interact with each other.

Chloe's Stats

Weight - 19lbs 4 ounces 55%
Length - 29 inches 90%
Head - 46 cm 93%

The day I lowered the crib mattress. I came in to get her from her nap and this is what I found. Does she look a little proud of herself?

Showing off another new trick.

Everyone loves Coco

Sometimes a little too much.

Maggie loves to hang out with Chloe in her crib. They will play in there together for quite a while, I won't complain :)

Some kids wear Fruit Loop Necklaces....we like Cheerio Earrings around here.

Sometimes I can't even believe this wonderful little creature belongs to me. I can't help but kiss that cute little face all day long.

The 'Before' Picture

I was trying to organize some picture files today and I happened upon this lovely one.
This was taken on July 25th, just 2 days before Chloe was born. I was so stinkin' hot and uncomfortable. (they could pass this picture out in High Schools to help prevent teen pregnancies).
I'm planning on posting 'before and after' pictures once I'm where I want to be with my weight-loss.
Would it be cheating to use this?

Matchy Matchy

Going to Costco and seeing all the cute girls clothes is the biggest temptation for me. I have 2 little girls 16 months apart...how can I not want to co-ordinate or match their clothes?
My girls don't need any new clothes, we have been blessed to have extremely cute hand-me-downs from their cousins, so I'm usually good at resisting the temptation.
Luckily, they both needed some cooler 'jammies' at the same time and I was able to get them these. Ok, maybe Chloe wasn't in as much need as Maggie, but seriously, would you be able to resist?

Our Little Birdie

Do you like Coco's new beak?
She does this all the time, I think it's hilarious.
The best part is that with the hole in the bottom of the cone, it whistles as she breathes in and out....it sounds like she is 'chirping'.

Addict

I'm so not looking forward to the day when I have to try and take these away from her. She is seriously obsessed.

She's Almost Got It

Chloe is one mobile little chicky. She has been doing an 'army crawl' for over a month now. This has been very effective in getting her to where she wants to be, she can seriously motor across the floor.
She can crawl, I've seen her go about 3 feet, but she just chooses to go 'commando'.

I need to get some video of her doing it, cause everyday I'm seeing more and more of this....
My little baby is growing up

Summer Toes

Last summer I saw a few people with 'Glitter Toes'. I thought it looked so cute, but I can't justify spending $20 to get my toes done right now. Instead I went to walmart and spent $2 on some extra fine glitter. It came in a package of 6 colours. The Betts girls will be Glittered all summer long.

I hope it lasts for a while, 2 year olds are not easy pedicure clients
